ADHD

ADHD, or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, is a condition that often starts in childhood and continues into the adult years. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of ADHD and getting the right help is essential for thriving in school, work, and life in general. In many cases, the symptoms of ADHD include trouble focusing, disorganization, poor time management, and trouble performing at school or in the workplace. We understand that ADHD can impact lives in a way that makes it difficult to stay motivated. Our goal is to help each patient take back their life by offering management methods tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle. We chose to use non-stimulants, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes to reach that goal.
What is the difference between ADD and ADHD?
ADD is an outdated term that is sometimes used interchangeably with ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder). Even if someone doesn’t display symptoms of hyperactivity, the diagnosis would still be ADHD.
