Step 1: INITITAL PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION up to 60 minutes
Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will complete a thorough initial evaluation. The initial evaluation is an assessment of your symptoms to determine the best treatment plan and medication regimen for you. This assessment will go over your family and social histories as well as current and past symptoms.

Step 2: TREATMENT PLAN
Based on the assessment from your initial evaluation a diagnosis will be made. From there the provider, along side of the patient, will develop a plan of care and determine if medications are needed.

Step 3: ONGOING MEDICATION MANAGEMENT up to 30 minutes
This process involved regular check-ins so to follow up closely with the provider and ensure progress is being made. During medication management visits, the provider will evaluate how you are doing and how you are tolerating the medications. Any medication changes and further recommendations will be made during these appointments.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER MEDICATION MANAGEMENT:
After starting medication management for mental health conditions, you can expect several key outcomes. Initially, there might be a period of adjustment as your body responds to the medication, which can include side effects such as nausea, fatigue, or changes in appetite. Your psychiatric provider will monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed to find the right dosage and medication that works best for you. Over time, as the medication takes effect, you should begin to notice improvements in your symptoms, such as better mood stability, reduced anxiety, or enhanced focus. Regular follow-up appointments are essential to evaluate the effectiveness of the medication and make any necessary changes. Additionally, combining medication management with other therapies, such as counseling or lifestyle changes, can enhance overall treatment outcomes and support your mental well-being.
